Fashion designer Leina Broughton is a woman's woman.
She empowers women through style and then celebrates said women in her campaigns that feature the "real people" who wear and love her designs. And we mean real. They are women of all sizes, nationalities and ages...and all clearly proud to be wearing her quality jersey garments that are developed and manufactured in Australia.
A New Zealand native, Leina took a leap of faith and moved to the big smoke of Sydney at the age of 20 where she worked in a fabric shop with the aim to meet designers and immerse herself in the Australian fashion industry.
Fast forward to 2010 and she created her own label aimed at the boutique market offering mini collections every two months.
In 2013 she partnered with Fleur Richardson and, together, they created LBFR Creative which has continued to flourish and they were named finalists in the Telstra Australian Business Awards in 2016.
