If you haven't downloaded the Shebah app yet, do yourself a favour and do so now.
This rideshare program was created by the ingenious Georgina McEnroe (pictured above) in an aim to help women and their children travel safely.
Every driver is female and, along with their cars, they have undergone a vast array of record checks, including a criminal and working with children check.
The service caters to women and children (click here to see the full breakdown of when men can travel), offering a safe alternative for parents who can't transport their children to and from school, home from a late night party, to and from sport on the weekend or any other situation that generally sees parents stuck for reliably safe transport options!
It's also an affordable and safe option if you've have a few drinks and need to travel home safely late at night!
Shebah works in a similar way to Uber, in that your credit card is linked to the app and you can make an immediate or advanced booking.
There is currently a call for more drivers across Australia to meet with demand, so it might even be worthwhile considering as a side hustle!
