Have you ever felt like a hamster caught on a wheel? Going from work to home and back again in a never ending cycle without any real direction or purpose? When we are stuck in this survival mode, is it any wonder that we struggle to knock off the things we know we ‘should’ do - get fit, quit smoking, get on top of our finances?
In this special International Women's Day event, the vivacious Peita Diamantidis shares the secret to switching ourselves from surviving into thriving mode, and then puts us through Dream Muscle Bootcamp, before letting us out into a world where we are constantly turning our dreams into real life adventures.
Join us on the In Search of Dreams Tour which will be complemented by a delectable spread of wine and cheese.
About Peita Diamantidis...
Peita Diamantidis is a new form of ‘geek’ hybrid - maths and finance nerdiness combined with a passion for communicating that has her on a mission to empower the public to take charge of their finances.
Utilising a background in Actuarial Studies (financial mathematicians that make accountants look hip and groovy), Peita has been most valued for her ability to take complex financial situations and break them down to their fundamentals. This culminated in the release of her first book 'Finance Action Hero: Basic Training' in May 2014, with the followup ‘Finance Action Hero: Mission Possible’ released in August 2016. Peita was the winner of the 2016 Female Excellence in Advice Award, and appeared on the 2017 FS Power 50 - 50 most influential financial advisers in Australia.
$1 from each ticket sold will be donated to Dress For Success Sydney, who empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
