When Tina and her sister Katerina Stavropoulos first started making chocolate from their home kitchen 25 years ago, no-one could have guessed the huge success their business would become.
Starting the business together to enable them to work from home and raise their children, Adora Handmade Chocolates was born and they had everyone who tried their chocolate hooked!
Fast forward a quarter of a century and they now have retail outlets in Earlwood, Sydney CBD, Parramatta and Newtown with a commercial kitchen in Marrickville to keep up with demand! They also now own the delectable Sweetness the Patisserie brand with mallows, fudge and confectionary added to their staple chocolate-based offering.
At our first Meet the Maker event, one-half of the amazing duo, Tina, will offer a raw and authentic looks at the challenges she has faced and the lessons learnt throughout her two decades in business. She will share her stories and offer advice to others who are looking to embark upon or who are currently travelling along the small-business pathway.
Biz Gals will also enjoy an early-evening high tea featuring products from Adora Handmade Chocolates along with a special gift to take home!
